Discover the excellence of Mediterranean fruits and vegetables!
In April, several study trips took place in Crete, Greece. Journalists from Germany, Hungary, and Spain explored the vegetable-producing regions of Crete, gaining insights into production methods and experiencing the exceptional quality of local produce firsthand.
Horticultural products such as tomato, cucumber, pepper and eggplant, as well as fruits such as Kaki fruit, grown in sunny Mediterranean countries, they are essential components of the Mediterranean diet and the European consumer chooses them both for their nutritional value and for their characteristic taste.
The nutritional advantages and the incomparable taste of the above products promoted in the markets of Greece, Spain, of Germany and Hungary in the framework of the European program entitled “Information and promotion actions for fruit and vegetables in the EU internal market” with the distinctive title MEDITERRANEAN COMBO, which is co-financed by the European Union and is a transnational cooperation program (Greece, Spain).
