The journey to meet the quality and taste of Mediterranean fruits and vegetables!

Horticultural products, such as tomato, cucumber, pepper, and eggplant, as well as fruits such as the kaki fruit that grown in sunny Mediterranean countries, are important components of the Mediterranean diet, and the European consumer chooses them both for their nutritional value and their distinctive taste.  

The nutritional advantages and the incomparable taste of the above products are promoted in the markets of Greece, Spain, Germany, and Hungary in the context of the European program entitled ” Information provision and promotion measures on fruits and vegetables in the internal market of EU — MEDITERRANEAN COMBO “, which is co-financed by the European Union and is a transnational cooperation program (Greece, Spain).

In the context of the “Study trips to Europe” activity, from 18 to 22 April 2023, 5 guests from Hungary and 3 guests from Germany participated in the educational trip to the producing regions of vegetables on the island of Crete, in Greece.
